In 2024, Lush chose to partner with Prevented Ocean Plastic™ to make the world lusher. In 2025, the POP logo will appear on even more Lush labels around the world as the British cosmetics retailer continue the global roll out of their use of our compliant, traceable, recycled material.
Lush have been committed to sustainable practices since they began, reducing their impact on the planet, and applying their buying power to drive positive change. They have been using 100% recycled PET for their clear bottles for more than a decade, but are always looking for ways to innovate with packaging. Prevented Ocean Plastic™ is proud to join them on this exciting next step and on their expansion into to eight Asian nations,
Lush has introduced Prevented Ocean Plastic™ for its 100ml, 250ml, and 500ml bottles. The Lush Manufacturing sites in Germany and Croatia have also rolled out Prevented Ocean Plastic™ across these sizes, while Lush North America will follow.
Prevented Ocean Plastic is so proud that almost 700 products have now been made out of our high quality, traceable, certified material.
Lush Japan’s better plastic choice marks the first time the POP story had been translated into Japanese- a memorable milestone.
It’s incredibly exciting to see our logo, conceived in our offices in London, on shelves in Lush stores around the world.
Today, Lush products on shelf in Japan, Malaysia, South Korea and Thailand feature the Prevented Ocean Plastic logo.
