Prevented Ocean Plastic is a global programme that collects discarded plastic before it reaches the oceans, and recycles it into new, high quality, traceable material for use in products and packaging.
Prevented Ocean Plastic Southeast Asia (POPSEA) is a plastic waste collection and recycling company pioneering the Prevented Ocean Plastic supply chain franchise model, with its initial operations launched in Indonesia.
POPSEA is a unique partnership between PT Polindo Utama, Bantam Materials UK Ltd, and Circulate Capital. POPSEA is built to establish best-in-class collection and recycling infrastructure.

INSIDE A COLLECTION CENTRE
A collection centre is a facility responsible for receiving, verifying, weighing, sampling, sorting, and compacting collected plastic materials into bales as the final product, ensuring accurate documentation, quality screening, and full material traceability at the local level while supporting organized intake and preliminary processing to maintain supply chain integrity.

INSIDE AN AGGREGATION CENTRE
An aggregation centre is a centralised facility where collected plastic materials are received, verified, and qualitychecked before being processed into flakes as the final product. The facility operates through structured processing stations to ensure material traceability, quality control, and documented handling from intake to final delivery. It consolidates materials from multiple collection points and transforms them into market-ready recycled plastic flakes.
