Eckart Witzigmann

First three-star chef in the German speaking countries, chef of the century, Professeur de la Cuisine, Patron Restaurant Ikarus, Hangar-7, Salzburg: Eckart Witzigmann has been presented with titles and awards like virtually no other chef and he was the pioneer who brought the French nouvelle cuisine to the German-speaking regions.

Thomas Bühner

Thomas Bühner is one of the most awarded and appreciated German Chefs for over 20 years and one of the Chefs awarded with 3 Michelin stars. Thomas also received the ‘Chef of the Year’ award by Gault&Millau, ‘Grand Chef’ with Relais & Chateaux, and his Restaurant La Vie from Osnabrück was a member of ‘Les Grandes Tables du Monde’ starting 2010.

Julia Komp

In 2016, Julia Komp became the youngest German female chef to be awarded a Michelin star at the age of just 27.

Jan Hartwig

Jan Hartwig has been Chef de Cuisine of Atelier at Hotel Bayerischer Hof since May 2014. Within just six months of joining Atelier, the Axel Vervoordt–designed restaurant at the Hotel Bayerischer Hof, the new chef de cuisine had already earned his first Michelin star, with the second to follow just one year later.

Sascha Stemberg

A highly regarded German chef, active member of JRE. After completing his apprenticeship and hiking in TOP-Gastronomie, Sascha returned to his renowned parents’ restaurant in 2003. The Stemberg House, owned by generations of the Stemberg family has been in the hospitality business for decades. With Sascha’s sophisticated, fine regional cuisine, the kitchen has been awarded the MICHELIN star since 2013.
