It’s the season for love, understanding, and loads of presents! A 2023 survey suggested the majority of UK Christmas shoppers buy gifts for up to 10 people. But all that gifting can come with some seriously unsustainable consequences.

With a month to go until the big day, below are five recycled plastic present ideas to make your shopping list a little bit greener this Christmas.
1. LUSH’S Snow Fairy Shower Gel

Made to make it through the post and your letter box in one piece, the flat design and light weight compared to glass (63g vs glass average of 453g) of the bottle also means significant carbon emissions savings can be made in relation to production, transport, and recycling.
